Dr. Mines is an Integrative Family Physician in practice for over 20 years serving thousands of patients in Washington, D.C. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry -Nutrition at Spellman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and her Medical Doctorate from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her specialty as a Family Physician at Howard University Hospital. Most recently, Dr. MInes has attained her Doctorate of Integrative Medicine from Capital University of Integrative Medicine in Washington, D.C.

Integrative medicine is not new. Thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt, the order of the day was the practice of multidimensional medicine. A variety of therapeutic modalities have traditionally been aimed at improving the patient’s health and relieving their suffering. As a result, patients suffer from poly-pharmacy syndrome, leading to secondary effects or combination effects of the drugs in their bodies.
