Dr. Kristi G. Hall obtained a Doctorate of Psychology degree from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University/Washington, DC Campus, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
During her clinical and academic training, Dr. Hall became concerned about the lack of focus on the multifaceted aspects of wellness. Simply, there was an absence of attention between the mind-body connections. Given such, she decided to direct her clinical services on the union between psychological and physical wellness. Dr. Hall's overwhelming passion about the marriage of psychological and physical wellness resulted in significant personal changes. Dr. Hall transitioned from a casual gym-goer to a wellness coach and athlete. She has completed triathlons, obstacle races, half marathons, and 5/10k races. Additionally, Dr. Hall is a certified yoga instructor by the American Sports and Fitness Association (ASFA).
Over the past few years, Dr. Hall has consulted with individuals and groups on comprehensive wellness; including muscle training, weight loss, weight management, anxiety, stress, and depression. Dr. Hall often applies various techniques such as mindfulness, relaxation, deep breathing, and stress reduction. She also provides team building, bonding, and wellness for athletes across various sports. Importantly, Dr. Hall is aware of the obstacles involved in maintaining a healthy lifestyle; thus, her coaching techniques are individually tailored to help create long-term change.
